FACT case study
Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT) is the UK’s leading media arts centre.
Offering a unique programme of exhibitions, film and participant art lead community projects based in Liverpool.
FACT employ approximately 40 permanent members of staff, in addition to a large casual and volunteer pool.
We initially worked with FACT to recruit an Executive Director, then went on to provide a retained service providing all on-going HR advice and support on a weekly basis onsite.
Some of the projects that we have been involved include recruitment & selection, reviewing all the HR policies, procedures, and contracts of employment.
Also, designing a performance management system and appraisal process; training all managers and employees to understand the new system. In addition to providing manager training such as managing absence, team building courses and leadership skills.
Due to the public funding cuts, we also carried out a complex restructure, which involved some redundancies and creation of new roles, which I successfully managed from start to finish.
