The Touring Local Cinema (TLC) is a non-for-profit social enterprise that not only aims to provide access to cinema but through its links with the industry, aspires to provide work for those working within it. It launched in August 2013 with the help of Liverpool John Moores University, and it was with their guidance that also led to the companies first financial award from the UnLtd organisation.
We supported the TLC to introduce a good HR foundation by providing guidance on good HR practices when employing new staff. We also devised a bespoke contract of employment, which would ensure that any future staff would be issued a standardised Terms and Conditions. We will continue to work with the TLC on any future HR needs that they may require.
